OUR STORY

It all began with high school stunts and a genuine need to rise to the occasion. Our founder, initially learning stunts to support his cheerleader girlfriend, quickly became integral to her success and that of their friends, mastering the basics of cheerleading from the ground up. His path took a creative turn through mascot gigs—from the Easter Bunny to radio station mascots and even a drug-free dragon—before discovering a talent in airbrushing that defined his career for years, including running his own T-shirt shop in the local mall.

But the real cheer passion reignited with the birth of his daughter. Witnessing her first steps, her first words, and her evolving dreams—from aspiring explorer to scientist and princess—shaped his life’s new direction. At five, she declared her ambition to be a cheerleader, changing everything once again. Our founder embraced the role of “The Cheer Dad,” deeply involved from rec-cheer to competitive all-star teams, known affectionately as the LVL 7 Cheer Dad.

This journey wasn’t just about supporting his daughter but extending that support to every team member. Cheerleading is not cheap, but through LvL 7 Cheer Gear, founded to make cheerleading accessible, he ensures no aspiring cheerleader is left behind. Today, LvL 7 Cheer Gear stands as a beacon for those who understand the grind behind the glamor, providing gear that meets the rigorous demands of real cheerleading.
